Mono Lake, Alabama Hills and Death Valley
I had the pleasure of traveling with Dan Sniffin who introduced me to the beauty and magic of these places. Dan is a terrific photographer and a wonderful new friend. Dan will be mortified with all of the images I've chosen to post, however, as with past postings I feel a desire to share the journey as well as the images.
Mono Lake is simply magical with it's unique Tufa's. The morning we were there it was 8 degrees but we never felt cold! The Alabama Hills is an area where Ansel Adams spent a fair amount of time. What a treat it was to be walking in his footsteps! Our trip to the Dunes did not yield a lot of images but it was spectacular to see!
