After spending a day in Cape Town we headed north 250km in the dark of night to Vanrhynsdorp to spend the night. The next day we were anxious to photograph, however, in the cool drizzle of rain the flowers do not show their beauty. We decided to head tothe coastal town of Strandfontein where in an almost eerie fog we were treated to the most spectacular beach sand and polished round rocks! After a few hours of great fun we reluctantly had to head north to Kamieskroon to meet the rest of the group. As much as I looked forward to the flowers and workshop I hated to leave this magical place that was so much fun!
